woke up pretty early today to go to changi village to take a bumboat to pengerang for brunch!

finally, after a speedy 30mins ride, we have reached pengerang.

first time i get off from a vertically "parked" bumboat.

from the ferry terminal, we took a 20mins cab ride, passing through one big rainy cloud, and to the "restaurant".

as usual, i will ALWAYS forget to take photos of the food until i have eaten. but its okie.. cos the main have not arrived yet.

ARRIVAL OF THE MAIN!!!

this is really really nice.

after this dish, princess vow to try salted egg crayfish at taman sri tebrau hawker centre the next time we go. and hopefully the crayfish would taste as nice as the lobster. =) *drools*

ordered especially for princess' friend who

complained that there isnt enough "肉" .

last dish: lobster salad.

aftermath with everyone checked their wallets. hehehe..

after lunch, with one had "sayanging" my stomach, we stroll to the "cab station" to take a cab back to the ferry terminal.

cant wait to try salted egg crayfish. but i guess that have to wait till next year. have been eating a lot of good food lately. hehehe...

SENTOSA! again.. =)

first stop: underwater world.

this time round, we didnt pay to go in. we went there for some unfinished business - take photo of the turtles that greenie failed to take the last time.





next stop: LUNCH!! hungry, so get lunch first.

soon it beginning to pour and we headed back to the beach station for shelter.

mr peacock wants to be in the shelter too.

but some smart people chased it out by wanting to get nearer to it. poor peacock.
but of course the smart people isnt me or princess.. we are very smart people. =P


cant really go anywhere, we sat at coffee bean drinking and taking photos.

so we decided to call it a day at sentosa and went for dinner at vivo. princess finally agreed to eat at dian xiao er!

i was expecting it to be a little spicy

but its just salty and a bit too oily. =(

maybe of the great/good comments people have about it and hence i was expecting the food to be superb but sadly no. its nice but not superb.

anyway, despite the gloomy weather today i am happy that we could spend some time together. going to be busy after i start work.

VivoCity 3rd Birthday!

weekend started early again this week. princess brought me to vivocity's 3rd birthday which they celebrate with fireworks!

finally, after weeks of talking about it, we finally made it to jb for shopping and food. =)

woke up pretty early today to avoid paying the $20. reached jb at around 7 and went to a prata shop for breakfast.

i think we all woke up too early, at 4pm, we are all feeling sleepy already. went to old town kopitiam to top up some energy.. lol.

something i got for myself during the shopping trip. have been wanting one since ever...

a half boiled egg maker.

it makes making my favourite half-boiled eggs so easy!

1. put the eggs in.

2. pour hot water in.

it has lines indicating how much water for how many no. of eggs.

3. wait for the water to finish dripping into the bottom part.

4. tada! can eat already.

never see properly. pour too much water already. =S
