“What's in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet.”

William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet

i think we have decided the last character of #小小楊貝貝 chinese name - 暄.

which according to google translator, means genial.
and genial means:

baby, hope you grow up friendly and cheerful :)

ok.. now to find the english name, with 10 days left....

names top on his list are:

abby - my father's joy. but i really think this is more suitable for firstborn and if really this name is chosen, i would rather have abigail. meaning of names is important but i feel the form of it is also important. i would not want people to think her parents are lazy and hence the short form of it. maybe i am thinking too much. lol.

ashley - dweller near the ash tree meadow. i really do not like this name for my little girl since i already have a male friend with this name. but that day on tv, one of the character was named "ashleigh" which i think is nice. again, the meaning of the name is not very meaningful.

emma - universal.

amelia - work. we actually like this name just that we are not sure if we like that meaning of the name....

phoebe - radiant, shining one. we probably will go with this if i did not have a geography teacher who liked to sit on table with her leg hair of a male for all to see by the name of phoebe. i am scarred.

names top on my list are:

sophia / sophie - wisdom.

ophelia - helper.

daphne - laurel tree, bay tree

madeline - woman from magdala; high tower

sylvia - from the forest

hopefully the hubs and i can find a name that we both can agree on soon...
argh.. but it is so hard!
