a female standing beside me on the train was lamenting to her male friend about being pushed about on the train yesterday. the reason was because she was standing in the middle of the pole in front of the door. what a surprise right?

immediately her friend replied "because people are selfish". i guess the "people" he was referring does not include himself cus he used "they" in his next sentence. wow.. inhuman.. maybe they are saints or angels of some sort.

then they started a whole conversation of "people" this, "people" that.. and she even said that "people should not push me just because i am small sized!"

well.. first i must say i like her guts for complaining out loud like she is totally the victim in the whole thing. if she would to think silently, maybe she would realised that she might be "blocking" others and standing at where the traffic is the worse - does not that like guarantee some push? not like i am saying that pushing is correct but if you are in such situation, you can either walk out with the crowd and board back on or get push and complain. agree?

lesson #1 - remember to watch my tongue.. it's so easy to say people are this, people are that.. but aren't we all people? don't we all squeeze on trains and sometimes are selfish for not giving up seat after a long day at work?

lesson #2 - don't trust anyone with impaired vision of themselves. after i saw how "small sized" she is.. it all just became noise.
