just collected my heels. upset.

wished that they had told us beforehand that the heels are displayed paired / old design and glue are turning yellow. instead of, "we only have one pair per size per design", "we have one pair of this size left but we can order from the warehouse".

went to the place 3 times all times they told me a different story.

the first time we went, they said nothing about the pair being the last pair or there is no size left. anyway i could not decide so we left.

the second time we went, we decided to buy that particular pair of heels. the sales girl actually have the cheek to put in the worn display pair into the box! i explained that i would like i have a new pair. then the sales girl said they have no pair left. "we only have one pair per size per design".

erm, you think i am a kid? a shop at 313, a central shopping district, "only have one pair per size per design"? but i kept my cool (*actually bridezilla is fuming in my head), and further explained that the pair is too old. the strap is wrinkled and the sole are worn. she also explain that the strap is very "soft" that is why its easily wrinkled. luckily she said i could order for the pair but i have to wait. fine, so we made an order.

today i happily looking forward to collect my heels. to my dismay, the problem is not solved. the strap is still wrinkled. and the sole have "portholes" =(((((( then the sales girl said, "the strap is wrinkled because the strap is strap around the heels in the box. yah, the quality is not so good that is why its on discount for this pair " WAH! another story!

further inspection, the "inside" sole has scratches and sole marks! obviously THIS IS NOT BRAND NEW! sigh, i give up. was wondering then if i should pay another $100 other "newer" design but what if the other design also have the same problem? in the end, i took my pair and left.

really sad. if i am told that the discount is because only display left i would think twice and probably buy the other design. but i was given the impression that i would have brand new pair from the warehouse.

i know that pair are on huge discount but if i am not told why the pair is on discount how am to know? it could be a outdated design or its really a good buy. right?

so is this an issue of choosy customer or plain dishonesty of the shop?

should i tell you the name of the shop?

Write in a letter to complain to the management, and cc to Straits Times or The New Paper, and CASE. I'm sure they'll get u a new piece or refund u etc. Does not sound right at all. Discount or not, it is still money. Not right that u have to fork out money for something that's not ur fault!
