abby has teeth!
but she would not let us see it.. =(

her tongue blocks it EVERY TIME we press down her lower lips.

anyway she is 6mths 27days old today. =)

time to ditch the floats!!

the hubs was beaming 2 weeks ago after their weekly pool session.
he proudly announced that, eh, rosanne can swim already leh.
and didnt even wait for me to reply and he repeated it again.

oh, ok. i said skeptically

can swim? really meh? with floats issit? a thousand and one questions was flashing through my mind.
since then, the hubs have been bugging me to bring abbs down for a swim together with them so that we can see rosanne swim.so after a long wait for the appropriate weather, swimming we went earlier this morning.

at first, she was pretty shy when her papa asked her to swim for me to see..

she kept asking the hubs to hold her then asked me to hold her.
after almost 20mins of warm up, she suddenly announced, papa i swim ok?

so from one end of the small jacuzzi pool, she swam 2 strokes on her own before her papa caught hold of her. she swam that two little stroke without aid. YAY! #proudmama

then 2 strokes became 3 then 4. and after she just could not stop swimming to and fro her papa and i in that little pool :)


today, she is 32 months 22 days. 

apparently, this happens everyday after school. -_-"

the most chim question rosanne has asked - who make car? 

last night the little girl pinched my muffin top and said, fat fat right?

i think this is due to her dodo yiyi calling abby's cheeks fishballs.
she then told me she will try to help me to squeeze it back cus its falling out of the pants. but with no avail.
mummy spoil already, she concluded, pointing to my fishball fatty tummy

that is the name the big little girl gave eric carle's very hungry caterpillar.
and when we ask her why?
she says, caterpillar got hole.
and she proceeds to show the holes calerpold made in her book.
lol.

last night, she shouted excitedly, calerpold lights! calerpold lights!

so her dad and i took a look at what she is pointed at outside the window.
ooohhhh, its the neighbours' hari raya light decorations that they had just put outside their window.
they do look like calerpold - red, green and orange.

this girl's imagination never fail to surprise me.

i am now lying on the far end of our king sized bed where rosanne has just banished me to.. T.T

just last night, she wanted me to lie right beside her and hug her to sleep. but tonight when i asked her if she wants me to sleep with her, she said yes and pointed to my pillow on the other side of the bed...

don't you want mama to pat you to sleep?
there is no space already!
